Pavlenko believes that Ukraine will ratify the Hague Convention on adoption.

"Currently, only consular employees should control the families, who adopted Ukrainian children and now live abroad. They do not have enough resources to fully monitor such families. There is a separate problem," presidential envoy for children rights Yuri Pavlenko told ForUm.

According to him, more than 10 thousand Ukrainian adopted children live in the USA.

"I believe that we will ratify the Hague Convention, which provides for opportunity to receive the information from authorities in other countries. Today, this is not possible. So we will be able to use not only the information of consulate, but request necessary information from the authorities of the country to check the conditions in which our children live.
