Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov demands to carry out the customs clearance of one container in the sea ports of Ukraine for 15-20 minutes, the head of government said during his working visit to the Odesa region, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
"At the first stage, we set a goal to reduce all customs procedures to one or two hours for each container, and in future, it should take maximum of 15-20 minutes," Azarov said.
According to him, the customs clearance of one container in the Odessa commercial sea port used to be conducted for two days, and now it takes only two hours.
The Prime Minister instructed to examine the European experience in the ports to reduce the time of customs clearance to 20 minutes.
