The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine expects entry into force of the agreement on the abolition of fees for national visas with Poland in September, FM spokesman Oleksandr Dikusarov told a briefing.

"After the completion of the internal procedures in Ukraine and Poland, the agreement will enter into force. We think it will happen in September," he said.

Dikusarov said that the essence of the agreement is the abolition of fees for long-term visas.

This condition covers those citizens of Ukraine and Poland, who are planning to stay in another country for more than three months but less than one year.

Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the similar agreements were previously signed with Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia.
