Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is satisfied with the process of implementation of the investment projects on the development of the Odessa commercial sea port.
"I have seen by my own that the implementation of projects has good pace. This concerns in particular, such areas as the development of port container transportation, bulk transportation, etc. All these large-scale projects are progressing," Azarov said during his working visit to Odesa region.
In addition, he noted that the project on the development of container transport provides for 17 hectares of land aggradation. The implementation of all activities of the project will significantly reduce the time of the procedures on registration of containers, as well as create opportunities for the reception of high capacity ships.
Azarov noted that in recent years, the transshipment through Odesa port has significantly increased, however, these indicators have not yet reached the pre-crisis level of 2007.
