This year, 984 millionaires have been registered in Kyiv, head of the State Tax Administration in Kyiv Iryna Nosacheva said at a meeting on topic "From fiscal agency to service department. Improving of investment climate and level of investment activity in the capital," ForUm correspondent reports.
According to her, during the last seven months of this year, the capital's millionaires paid 342 million UAH of taxes. She also noted the positive dynamics of income declaration by taxpayers, including millionaires.
Commenting on the income declaration of the MP candidate, ex-football player Andriy Shevchenko, the official said that athletes were always first to declare their income honestly.
"I'm not ready to discuss the declaration of Shevchenko without his consent. But athletes were always first in this issue (tax payment – Ed.)".
