Lviv police is to strengthen security measures on August 15, the day of match between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.

"On August 15, the police will strengthen security measures. In particular, we will involve the staff of Lviv city police department, and the part of the Pustomytiv police department staff. In addition, the protection of public order will be ensured by the patrol officers, internal forces officers and the "Berkut" special forces officers," deputy chief of Lviv Internal Ministry regional department Colonel Mykhailo Kurochka informed.

The officers continue collecting the data on the number of fans coming to the city to watch the match.

According to the Colonel Kurochka, the streets, including Stryiska Street, won’t be blocked in connection with the match. Moreover, the number of public transport units to carry passengers to the Arena Lviv stadium will be increase.
