On the night of August 13, a heavy shower rained in Dnipropetrovsk. As a result, water flooded the city center.

In twenty-four hours, a monthly norm of precipitation came down, the director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida informed.

"54 mm of precipitations, which came down in Dnipropetrovsk per day, is almost a monthly norm. So, of course, the water flows into the low-lying places. Accumulating in such places, it can provoke problems," Kulbida said.
