Ukraine will pay one million 645 thousand dollar that amounts to more than 13.3 million UAH to the winners of the Olympic Games 2012 in London.
When the Olympics 2012 started, the Cabinet decided to raise awards for Ukrainian athletes. The award amounts to 125 thousand dollar for the gold medal, 80 thousand dollar for silver and 55 thousand dollar for bronze. The same amount will be paid to coach or coaching staff of victorious athlete.
As a reminder, at the Olympics 2012, Ukrainians won 20 medals: six gold, five silver and nine bronze.
