During 14 days of the election process, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine (CEC) accepted documents for registration of MP candidates in the single member constituencies from 3075 people, ForUm learned from the CEC press service.

"During14 days of application process (30 July - 12 August), the Central Election Commission accepted documents for further registration from 1477 self-nominated candidates in the majority constituencies and 1598 nominees from political parties in the majority constituencies," the CEC reported.

The Commission also informed that during August 11-12 the documents were received for registration of MP candidates in the single-mandate (majority) constituencies from 238 people including 188 self-nominees, and 50 nominees from 10 political parties.

In addition, on August 11-12, the CEC received the electoral lists of candidates and the relevant documents for the further registration in the national multi-mandate electoral constituency from three political parties.
