The Finance Ministry allocated 3 billion 300 million UAH to pay compensations to the USSR Savings Bank depositors, ForUm learned from the Finance Ministry press office.
"As of August 10, the Finance Ministry allocated from the state budget, and the Oshchadbank JSC received 3 billion 300 million UAH. Of them - 300 million UAH are allocated to pay compensations to depositors, details of which as of January 1, 2012 were included in the information-analytical database "Register of depositors savings of the citizens" and who did not received in 2008 compensation for losses from depreciation of monetary savings, within the balance of indexed deposit, but not more than 1000 UAH per a depositor, and the payments to the heirs of depositors in the amount of 500 UAH," the statement says.
