Wages for employees of high-tech industries will make up 8.000 UAH, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during a visit to the Bel Shostka Ukraine OJSC during his working visit to Sumy region, ForUm learned from the Cabinet’s press office.
"We have put the task before high-tech industries to bring the average wage to the level of 8.000 UAH. This is a difficult task. But if it is high-tech production, it has high-quality products, there is a market, then there is a possibility of paying people a decent wage," Azarov said.
He added that the government will create conditions for the number of high-tech enterprises in Ukraine to grow. According to him, the state will invest in infrastructure development, particularly in the engineering preparation of sites for such enterprises.
Azarov also asked the employees about the average salary. The Prime Minister was informed that the average salary makes up 5.000 UAH.
"It is a good salary for Ukraine," Azarov said.
