On Wednesday, the series of measures on the road safety improvement will be adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during his visit to a driver-training center, as ForUm correspondent reports.
"On Wednesday, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, we will listen to the interior Ministry officials, the head of car inspection department in the country and the representatives of public organizations, and we plan to adopt the series of measures that will improve the road safety step by step," Azarov said.
According to him, a compromise should be found in this issue.
"We need to find a reasonable compromise between the situation that actually exists on the roads and those structures that control the safety. It is clear that we need to improve the quality of the traffic police and to increase the responsibility of the head of car inspection department. But we should also control our drivers to prevent them from road traffic violations," he said.
