The Embassy of Italy in Ukraine declares that the visa application center resumed its normal work on applying and receiving documents to obtain a tourist visa, the Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Fabrizio Romano said in the interview.
"We resumed normal working schedule. Call the visa center, they will appoint a meeting, a week will be the maximum term to wait for. There will be no delays!" he said.
The Ambassador noted that one reason for delays in receipt of documents and issuance of visas was the installation of new equipment in the visa center of the Embassy and the following problems with the software, which are resolved now.
Romano also said that Italy intends to promote tourism by accrediting the new travel agency and opening the Enit Italian national tourism agency.
