Fee for non-cash payments is not excessive spending, but a kind of insurance payment for security, the president of Ukrsotsbank JSC Serhiy Naumov told a press club, ForUm correspondent reports.

"This is a charge for you do not need to carry a lot of cash and even major transactions can be performed safely. Moreover, today banks are willing to do discounts on commission for large sums," the banker said.

According to him, with the development of non-cash payments market, the commission fees will continue falling, as it happens with any market while expanding infrastructure. "Already, many banks issue free payment cards and do not take commission for using them," the financier said. He added: "Of course, the growth of non-cash payments will cause the decline in the black cash market, therefore resulting in the general improvement of the country's financial sector".
