
This year, we observe the largest volume of state demand for the universities for all the years of independence, youth and sports minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk told a press conference on the first results of the admission campaign 2012, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In 2012, the state demand for junior specialists made up 79 thousand places, 68 of which are for full-time education. The state demand for bachelor’s degree was increased to 127 thousand places, 108 of which are for given full-time education. The demand for specialist’s degree was increased up to 74 thousand places," Tabachnyk said.
Also, according to him, the state demand for master’s degree was increased to 44.600 places. "This is the largest number for all the years of independence of Ukraine," the minister said.
