The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decree "On the award of the Cabinet of Ministers for the development and implementation of innovative technologies," the press service of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine reports.
"The prize will be awarded on a competitive basis every year for the outstanding achievements in the development and implementation of innovative technologies in the production and the launch of domestic innovative products," the statement said.
The award committee will be established, and it will work on a voluntary basis. The committee will include members of the government, heads of the concerned central government authorities, scientists and leading designers.
The means for the payment of awards and diplomas to the winners will be taken from the budget of the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Information of Ukraine, the Education Ministry informed.
