The repatriation of the bodies of Ukrainian citizens killed in Poland road accident will be held tomorrow or the day after, the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleksandr Dikusarov said at a briefing.
"According to the preliminary information, the repatriation of the bodies of the Ukrainians may take place tomorrow or the day after tomorrow," he said.
According to him, a forensic medical examination of the bodies of citizens of Ukraine is almost completed. Relatives of killed people are arriving to Poland, and consular officers provide them with maximum assistance. Those who cannot come to Poland send orders to transport the bodies of their killed relatives to Ukraine.
Dikusarov noted that all the citizens of Ukraine were insured, and now the insurance company settles the payment issue for the repatriation of the bodies in full. He also said that yesterday a citizen of Ukraine who is still in the hospital was operated on her leg. Her health has improved. The Ukrainian consul visits the hospital every day. Today her father is expected to arrive.
