302.1 million UAH were allocated for the purchase of vaccines for the immunization of the population in Ukraine, deputy healthcare minister Rayisa Moiseenko told a press briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The amount of funding needed to meet the absolute need for immunization amounts to 414.4 million UAH," she said.
According to her, in 2012 Ukraine fully meets the needs of regions for the vaccines to prevent tuberculosis and polio.
"A vaccine to prevent rabies in amount of 20 thousand doses distributed and delivered to all regions of Ukraine. To date, the vaccines for immunization for children of one year old started to be delivered to regions," Moiseenko said.
