The Verkhovna Rada refused to repeal the law on the installation of web cameras at the polling stations during the parliamentary elections. Five members out of required 226 voted for the adoption of the draft resolution.
In particular, the Parliament refused to repeal the decision of Parliament to adopt as a basis and in general the bill on ensuring openness, transparency and democratic character of the parliamentary elections of October 28 2012.
The author of the draft resolution, MP Mykola Tomenko, believed that the law was passed in violation of procedural rules.
