If the deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Mykola Tomenko doesn’t withdraw his resignation and insists on its consideration, this issue will be discussed during the next parliamentary session in September, the head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said at a briefing, as ForUm correspondent reports.
"If Tomenko insists on consideration of his resignation, then the Verkhovna Rada may consider it in September, but I haven’t heard such insistent demands on this issue," Yefremov said.
He also recalled that once the Parliament did not include this issue on the agenda, Tomenko's resignation might be approved "only at his insistence."
