Today, up to six thousand people intend to take part in the rallies near the Parliament, the deputy spokesman of the central department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine Volodymyr Dmytrenko said, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, this number was specified in the applications filed by the organizers of the rallies.
However, Dmytrenko did not mention the number of policemen keeping the peace near the Parliament, saying that "a sufficient number of policemen is patrolling".
Meanwhile, the police squads were seen at the entrance to the Hrushevsky Street. More than 30 buses with the officers of the special forces stand in the Mariinsky park.
