The Central Election Commission of Ukraine is ready for elections, the deputy head of the Central Election Commission Andriy Mahera told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the state budget allocates sufficient sum for holding of elections - 1.2 billion UAH.
Commenting on video monitoring at the voting stations, Mahera said: "CEC cannot fulfill the law, which has not yet entered into force".
The official added that some technical difficulties arise during each election, but the CEC will ensure the quality holding of the electoral process.
Mahera also informed that on July 30 the CEC will have normal working hours, starting its work from 9.00 am. According to him, on that day the political parties will hold conventions and determine the candidates list and the self-nominated candidates will have the right to file their documents and monetary deposit for registration.
"All the potential candidates have enough time to collect the necessary documents and file them to the CEC," the deputy head of the CEC said.
