Ukrainians consider unemployment the biggest threat to them, the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said opening the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Today Ukraine's citizens consider unemployment the greatest threat to them. They see what's going on. The recession in the eurozone is not just a ghost the experts frighten us with," he said.

Moreover, according to the PM, the European governments have not yet reacted to this crisis. "For us the European market is the center of exports, but we can resist such an obvious threat. Our strategy, confirmed by two and a half years of economic recovery after the ruin and chaos, is political stability and an increase in domestic demand. The coordinated policy of all the branches of power can respond flexibly to the challenges. The development of the domestic market is to protect against the risks," Azarov said.

According to him, this experience pertains not only to Ukraine, but to all successful developing countries.
