The State Service of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship Development has greatly simplified the business life in Ukraine since the beginning of its functioning, the head of the Service Mykhailo Brodsky said at a briefing, as ForUm reports.

According to the official, in particular, the permitting centers in the regional state administrations and Crimea have been established. "We have also introduced the declarative principle for the construction market, in particular for the preparatory and construction works and for the delivery date of the constructed objects of I-III categories of complexity. We have introduced similar principal for certain high-risk works, for the machine exploitation and the unsafe equipment. From now on such activities do not require permits," the expert said.

He continued that a bill on further reduction of the list of permits would be sent to the Cabinet by the end of July. Only 37 kinds of activities that require a special permit will be left in the list. "Preparing the draft we took into account the overlapping permits, excessive control over economic activity, lack of coordination within the provisions of certain laws. In addition, some kinds of business that now require permits, in fact, do not contain the risks or pose  threats to public health and the environment," Brodsky said.

According to the official, his agency is also developing amendments to the law on licensing system in order to simplify the issuance of permits. "We want to introduce the principle of single-window to minimize the interaction between the businessmen and the officials of regulatory authorities," he said.
