The Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service accused Ukraine of breach of arrangements to monitor the quality of cheese of Ukrainian producers entering the territory of the Russian Federation, ForUm learn from the Russian Service press office.

The Service officials noted that they have not received yet the complete information about the conclusions of the Ukrainian laboratories about the inspection of cheese, entering the Russian market from the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine.

"In addition, the Ukrainian party in the person of the State Inspectorate of Ukraine on protection of consumer rights breaches the agreement on the preparation and signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service," the statement says.

At the same time, the Service reported that the laboratory of the Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow received 236 samples of cheese manufactured by the Mensky Cheese branch of the Prometey private enterprise, the Hadyachsyr LLC, the Pyriatynskiy PJSC cheese factory, the Dubnomoloko PJSC, 217of which are fully investigated already. As a result, 214 samples were the given expert opinion on the compliance with the sanitary-epidemiological rules and standards.

"The Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service examined the reports of the Lozovsky Dairy Plant LLC on removal of disadvantages identified during the inspection of the company to meet production requirements stipulated by the federal law on technical regulations on milk and dairy products. While considering the reports was marked a formal approach to their preparation, including the implementation of the enterprise production control and inspection of cheese and cheese products, which does not allow making a decision on the admission of products of this company in the Russian market," the statement says.
