29 ha of wheat burnt in Cherkassy region

28.77 hectares of wheat have burnt in Zhashkovski district of Cherkassy region, the emergency department of the region reports.

The local fire brigades managed to contain the fire and prevent its spread over the whole field of total area of 74 ha.

The amount of losses is being established. According to the preliminary information, the fire was caused by arson.

The field belongs to the Ukrainian-German enterprise "Agro-Wild Ukraine".
