As of July 19, a total of 1 million 617 thousand 337 depositors of the former Soviet Savings Bank have received compensation payments worth UAH 1.541 billion, ForUm learned from the press office of the Bank.
The press office reminded that a depositor must first pass the actualization procedure. According to the data, 3 million 620 thousand depositors have already applied for the actualization, being held since April 2, and 2 million 890 thousand depositors have already passed the procedure.
In addition, the Bank informed it also pays the compensations to the heirs of depositors, who died between 2005 and 2011 years and did not receive the money. According to the data, 333,657 heirs had already received compensation payments worth more than UAH 162 million 491 thousand.
Compensation payments will continue until December 25, 2012.
From September 1, 2012, the Oshchadbank will resume the registration of citizens in its information and analytical system - the register of deposits of citizens - who have not yet registered their data and compensation accounts.
