At the next session of the Central Election Commission scheduled for July 28 the official beginning of the election campaign may be announced, a commission member Igor Zhydenko told the press, ForUm correspondent reports.
The official has also informed the CEC sees no point in holding early parliamentary elections when only one week remains until the official beginning of the election campaign.
As for the political commercial of the future candidates, Zhydenko says that before the official start the CEC cannot influence nor do something about it.
"Before the official start it is just a political commercial, and within the law the CEC cannot influence or ban it," the official summed up.
