The Central Election Commission has approved the regulations of the drawing procedure regarding the distribution of airtime for political parties and single-mandate candidates, ForUm correspondent reports.

The drawing procedure for political parties remains the same as during the latest parliamentary elections, while the procedure for single-mandate candidates differs. In particular, the CEC will make the lists of single-mandate candidates in every region and will assign a number to each candidate. The drawing procedure will be held for all regions at the same time.

"For example, if we draw number 5, candidates with this number in each region will be the first to go on air. If we draw number 40, the result will not be counted in those regions, where the number of registered candidates is less than 40," a CEC representative explained.

In addition, the CEC has approved certain changes to some territorial election commissions and foreign electoral districts and adopted the participation procedure for specialists, experts and technical workers, involved into the work of election commissions.
