Today, on July 19, the deputy mayor, the secretary of the Kyiv City Council Halyna Hereha filed a petition to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the appointment of early election of Kyiv mayor, ForUm learned from the Kyiv City Council press service.
She noted that by submitting a petition to the Parliament, she met the requirement of the law and reminded that the date of the early local elections shall be appointed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
