
Ukraine and Moldova agreed on ensuring unhindered access of Ukrainians, who live in the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic, to the overseas polling stations set up in the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova and the Ukraine Consulate in Bălți (Moldova), ForUm learned from the statement published by the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
On July 17, in Chisinau (Moldova), the meeting of leaders of the consular services of foreign departments of Ukraine and Moldova was held, during which were reached the agreements with the Moldovan authorities to ensure the full expression of the will of Ukrainians at the voting stations in the embassies and consulates.
The Foreign Ministry notes that the main theme of the meeting was to discuss the rights and interests of the Ukrainians living in Moldova and the Moldovans living in Ukraine.
The parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
