The issue of Ukraine's bid for the purchase of Russian gas in 2013 is pending, the deputy minister of energy and coal industry Volodymyrr Makukha told reporters before the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The issue is still under consideration. Negotiations are being carried out, and exactly this issue was discussed on July 12 (during the meeting of the interstate commission chaired by the Presidents of Ukraine and the Russian Federation. - Ed.)," Makukha said.
He said that there is still time for consideration before the gas purchase starts next year, and Ukraine will do everything necessary to solve this issue in due time.
As a reminder, the Russian President Putin rules out the revision of the gas contract with Ukraine.
