The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirms the information about the deaths of two Ukrainian pilots in the crash of a Mi-2 helicopter in Congo.
"According to the Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of Senegal, two Ukrainian pilots were killed in helicopter crash in the evening of July 16 near Mbouambe, a town 180 kilometers north of the capital Brazzaville of the National Republic of Congo," the FM spokesman Oleksandr Dikusarov said.
The Embassy of Ukraine takes measures to find out the circumstances of the helicopter crash and prepares the necessary documents for registration of the repatriation of bodies.
"Now, the bodies of citizens of Ukraine stay in the morgue of Brazzaville," Dikusarov said.
