
The Emergency Ministry simplified the fire safety requirements for businesses, the acting chairman of the State Inspection of Technogenic Sfaety of Ukraine Ivan Krisa told a press today, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the Ministry adopted the amendments to the license provisions for engineering, installation and maintenance of fire protection and heating systems and for the estimation of fire safety conditions of the objects.
"These amendments greatly simplified the requirements for economic entities that perform work at sites with high risk of fire," Krisa said.
The official explained that the requirement for the work experience of the entity was ruled out and the minimum number of contractors was twice reduced.
In addition, Krisa said that from now on, the permits of the EM to conduct business activities will now be issued free of charge and the inspections will be conducted in case of emergency.
