Ukraine should abandon the mass use of detergents containing phosphates, the acting minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Oleksandr Alipov said during the meeting on implementing the state program "Drinking water of Ukraine", chaired by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, as ForUm reported.
According to Alipov, a regulatory legal act on the gradual reduction and further total ban of the use of the detergents containing phosphates should be urgently developed, as the Regional Development Ministry already did for small plastic bags.
