Ukraine should not be afraid of the tornado, which struck Poland today, the director of the Institute of Hydrometeorology Volodymyr Osadchy said, as ForUm reports.

"There is nothing threatening in this tornado for Ukraine. I see no grounds for a disaster," Osadchy said.

According to him, the wind speed in the Black Sea may reach up to 15 m/s.

"But that's ok, because such wind speed will be far from beaches. The speed near the coast will be 0.8 m/s. These days the precipitation in the form of rain is expected to be throughout Ukraine, but the forecast does not say anything about some extraordinary phenomena," he said.

As a reminder, today the tornado hit Poland. One person was killed, and at least ten people were injured.
