The criticism and unverified information published in the media on the eve of Euro 2012 played an important role in the tournament organization, the director of the Ukrainian Euro 2012 organization office Markiyan Lubkivsky said at the press conference on the Euro 2012 results, as ForUm reports.

"It pushed the officials to make their best to organize the tournament at the highest level. The media attention to the organizational process encouraged us to do everything in the best way and I would like to thank everyone. It is true that there were a lot of negative information and fortunately it wasn’t confirmed," he said.

According to Lubkivsky, it makes no sense to create a separate museum devoted to Euro-2012.

"I am more than confident that the photos, videos and all the attributes could take its proper place in the sports fame museum which will be opened at the NSC" Olympic "on the place of hospitality area," he said.

The tournament director announced that now the possibility is being considered to send the collection of photos and videos to the Foreign Ministry to organize the Euro 2012 exhibitions abroad.

"We need to use the positive response given by the championship for our advantage," Lubkivsky said.
