The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych believes that Georgia's experience in conducting reforms does not suit Ukraine, he said during the informal meeting with the Club of editors of the CIS countries, Baltic states and Georgia, as ForUm learned from the press service of the Head of State.

"Ukraine is another country. The population of just one Donetsk region is more than the population of the whole Georgia. I have been engaged in reforms long since. Since I started working as the head of the company at the age of 37. My program of regional development up to 2020 is still in effect in Donetsk region," Yanukovych said.

The President of Ukraine said that after he had moved to Kyiv in 2003, he established a working group on reforms of the country. "We were assisted by the world's largest consulting company, which is engaged in reform in many countries and has huge material for comparison. We did not blindly accept their offers, we attracted national experts and scientists as well. We had to feel the problem issues of the country," he added.

According to him, now the discussions on reforming the country have been intensified.
