Considering the case of the organization of illegal chasing by ex-Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko, the court starts to interrogate the defendants.
First, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv is to interrogate the ex-officer of the Internal Ministry Criminal Investigation Department Oleh Pavlenov.
As expected, then his colleague Vladimir Tarasenko and Yuri Lutsenko will be questioned.
As a reminder, Lutsenko was accused under the Part 3, the Art.364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Abuse of authority or office) during the investigation into the poisoning of Viktor Yushchenko.
Lutsenko is accused of that in 2009 he, holding the post of Interior Minister, continued the operational activities to investigate into the case of poisoning of Yushchenko, in particular organized chasing after the driver of the former first deputy chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Volodymyr Satsyuk Valentyn Davydenko.
