The President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that his country does not force anyone to join the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, he said at the press conference in Yalta after the meeting of the Interstate Commission.

However, Putin said that the introduction of changes to the documents that control the work of the Customs Union may be difficult in the future in case of newcomers.

"The final choice, certainly, depends on Ukraine," Putin said answering the question on the prospects of Ukraine's joining this organization.

"Russia never pulls anyone. This is counterproductive. Each country should evaluate its pros and cons before joining any union," the Russian President said.

At the same time, he said that then "it will be difficult or maybe not possible at all to make any changes to the existing documents due to the entry of new members into the organization."

In turn, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych expressed his gratitude for invitation to this or that union. "Thank you for being invited. We will see what expects us in the near future," Yanukovych said.
