The number of registered millionaires has increased this year by 256 comparing to the previous year, chairman of the state tax service in Kyiv Iryna Nosachyova said at a meeting with representatives of small and medium businesses, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The declared income in more than 62 thousand declarations amounts to 9.7 billion hryvnias. There are 945 millionaires registered in Kyiv," the official specified.
At the same time Nosachyova reported that "many taxpayers keep concealing true sum of income". According to her, such violations mostly occur in car sales.
The official reminded of a case, when an expensive car Toyota Prado was sold on the books for 100 hryvnias. Nosachyova warned that such forgeries are being traced and revealed.
