Agrarians should work out a strategy regarding the grain export this year, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during his visit to the Innovation Selection Center, ForUm correspondent reports.
"There is a sufficient amount of grain transit stock in Ukraine. Adding the current yield it is possible to hold stable prices for bread," the PM said.

The official also noted that taking into account the amount of both transit stock and this year yield, the government will not introduce limitations on grain experts. However, according to Azarov, agrarians should not sell grain at the earliest available opportunity, but wait till the price situation on the market is clear. "Marketing policy must be intelligent," the Premier pointed out.

In addition, Azarov noted that Ukraine should develop the selection and production of new sorts of crop species, so the country can stop importing but start using its own seeds.
