The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine has lifted the ban on ice cream import from Belarus, allowing the Belarusian company "Santa Bremor" to resume supplies of ice cream to the country, the press service informs.

"Taking into account the guarantees given by the competent Veterinary Service of the Republic of Belarus, the temporary limitations on the import of the ice cream of "Santa Bremor" production are removed," the statement said.

The instructions on this issue are sent to the chief state inspectors of regional public services of the veterinary and sanitary control and supervision at the state border, and chief state inspectors of the veterinary medicine of Crimea, regions and cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol.

The import of "Santa Bremor" ice cream fell under the ban on March 1, 2012, along with other dairy products of Belarus.
