The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov demands to ban the fiscal and the force authorities from carrying out the groundless inspection of agricultural enterprises, he said at the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, the farmers address him, complaining about groundless inspections carried out by regulatory bodies. This especially concerns those farmers who received compensation for the lost winter crops.

According to the PM, this year 300 million UAH has been allocated from the state budget for this kind of compensation, but only 26 million UAH have been actually paid.

"This happens so because, as soon as the farmers receive compensation, the relevant authorities come to them with inspection. I draw the attention of the ministers and the fiscal and law enforcement officers that they do not allow unfounded audits. The inspections should be carried out only on the basis of misuse signals. Otherwise, these checks will be treated as self-will of the regulatory bodies," Azarov said.
