The ex-Interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko accused the judge of Pechersk district court of Kyiv Hanna Medushevska of violation of his rights and offered to hold hearings of the cases on illegal surveillance without him.

Lutsenko made such a statement after the judge's refusal to give for examination the applications of two witnesses in the case: prosecutors Vyacheslav Perch and Halyna Klymovych about the impossibility of their arrival at the hearing to bear witness.

"I am submitting a motion seal my mouth and eyes with duct tape and hold the hearing as you want, because I am deprived of all rights to protection. Also, I'm sorry, but let's hold the court hearing in Bykivnia (the village on the outskirts of Kyiv of mass burials of people repressed and executed by the Soviet organs. – Ed.) , hang a sign "Yuri Lutsenko, 2012" and that is all. This gathering cannot be named the court. It is the sabbath. So why am I here? I'm taking baralgin for the fourth day. Send me to a ward. I still do not have any rights. Do whatever you want to," Lutsenko said.

He accused judge Medushevska of complete disregard of the Criminal Procedure Code provisions.

"You think, your honor, or rather dishonor, that to sit under the flag of Ukraine, to put this piece of fabric is enough to call yourself the court? This is not the trial, this is mockery of justice. Everything I have said about the Ukrainian perverted justice once is the tenth part of what it really is. You, in contrast to Vovk (the judge of the Pechersk district court of Kyiv Serhiy Vovk, considered another case involving Lutsenko. - Ed.), even do not create the visibility of compliance with the Criminal Procedure Code," Lutsenko said, addressing the judge.

Today, judge Medushevska read out interrogation reports of the last witness in the episode, concerning prolonging the operative investigation into the case against the Lutsenko’s driver Volodymyr Satsyuk within the investigation of the poisoning of Viktor Yushchenko.

The judge also refused Lutsenko to give for examination the statements of witnesses who have not appeared before the court to bear witness.
