As of July 6, 8.4 thousand Ukrainians have applied to participate in the state program of affordable housing, the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Anatoliy Blyznyuk said during a conference in the Cabinet, as ForUm correspondent reports.
"5967 apartments in 149 houses are offered to these people," the official said.
He also added that 63 agreements including 23 in Kyiv have been already signed as part of the program. 31 credits are funded at about 10 million UAH, while 16 credits at 6.5 million UAH in Kyiv, 6 credits at 880 thousand UAH in Sumy region and 3 credits at 900.7 thousand UAH in Crimea. Also two credits were financed in Poltava and Kharkiv regions, one credit in Kirovohrad and Chernihiv regions, Blyznyuk specified.
