The Interior Ministry Central Investigation Department was entrusted with the investigation into the accident occurred in Chernihiv region, in which the pilgrims from Russia suffered, the spokesman of the Chernihiv Interior Ministry Department Serhiy Bryl told ForUm correspondent.
According to him, a criminal case under the Part 3 of the Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Violation of rules related to traffic or driving safety by drivers”) was initiated against the driver of the bus. Currently, the driver is in custody.
As a reminder, the bus with 43 pilgrims from the town of Velikie Luki of Pskov region, Russia flipped over in Saturday morning in Chernihiv region, Ukraine. 14 Russians died, 29 were injured.
