The Verkhovna Rada chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn may leave his post without the Parliament, the leader of the Party of Regions Oleksandr Yefremov told the parliamentary reporters, as ForUm correspondent reports.

"According to the Parliament Rules, we are obligated to consider this issue on the second day after the application. We have discharged this task, but not included on the agenda. Then the Labour Code enters in force, which says that if this issue is not resolved and the person does not take his statement back within 15 days, he is entitled to be dismissed on his own," he explained.
