The leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov sees no need in re-voting on the law on the principles of the national language policy, he told reporters commenting on the possibility of re-voting on the law.

"There were no violations," Yefremov said.

At the same time, he added that if the opposition wants to re-vote on this law, it has to collect the votes.

"Re-voting is possible only if they have enough votes and the decision is supported by MPs," Yefremov said.

As reported, on July 3, the Parliament of Ukraine by 248 votes in favor adopted on the whole the law on the principals of national language policy by Kivalov and Kolesnichenko, which expands the rights of the Russian language in Ukraine.

The parliamentary opposition declared that the bill was passed with a large number of violations, so it is going to boycott the work of the current session, which is to end on July 6 this year according to the schedule.
