The draft bill on amendments to the Constitution regarding deputy immunity by Oleksandr Lavrynovych, has not been and cannot be sent to the Constitutional Court, as the bill has not been signed by speaker Volodymyr Lytyvn.

"Journalists have written that the draft bill has been approved and sent to the Constitutional Court. No offense, but nobody lifts the immunity just yet and nobody sends anything to anyone," vice speaker Mykola Tomenko told the press.

"In order to be sent to the Constitutional Court the given daft bill needs to be signed first by the speaker. Lytvyn is on a sick leave, and there is no other head of the parliament. Hence, the draft bill cannot be sent," Tomenko added.
